| >> | No.2046 That's all! And now, a whole lot of translation notes. Even so, these aren't quite complete, so feel free to add to and correct them! - The title might not be quite as punny in the original, but it was too silly not to use.
- "Super Futaba" would be the name of some sort of supermarket.
- The main characters are Astaroth-san, a demon from some game or other (somebody fill me in on this) who got adopted by the Toshiaki, and Taeko-san, also know as WE-tan, who dresses up much like ME-tan and wants to be an OS girl too.
- WE-tan's boyfriend is ME-kun, I think.
- As you may recall from The Book About Medoi-san, Spiderman has also been adopted by the Toshiaki, and lives with Astaroth, Taeko and Yamada. His line on page 4 is a reference to the opening song of the old boxing anime "Ashita no Joe" - something along the lines of "That hateful guy's face that appears and disappears on the punching bag..."
- The people at the bottom of page four are, right to left, Danbai-san, Shitsuji-kyun, and Heika.
- Page five features Medoi and her friend Double Muscle, who's some sort of big beefy bull who really likes Medoi, and thinks things are TOTALLY AWESOME.
- I must admit that I don't know who the first person on page six is (someone fill me in here), but the rest are Akachouchin (another out of the many Rozen Maiden-derived characters), CV Wakamoto, and Kiriko the HelloWork girl. HelloWork is the Japanese employment agency.
- Page 9 features the maid team - Medoi, Kudoi, Hidoi and Modoi. On Hidois shoulder sits Chikoi, the smallest maid.
- Kudoi's monologue is approximately (thanks to htsuji for reverse-engineering this): "Did you know? Omelette rice was first made by cooks at western-style restaurants in Japan for their own meals. Fry the egg until half-done - that's when the egg will slowly flow like this if you tilt the frying pan. If you're making dandelion omlette rice, you just serve the omlette on top of the fried rice. By the way, wouldn't you like some ramen? How about going and eating some really greasy ramen that's got as much lard as you can get..."
- All I know about page ten is that "Fu'un-ken" is a refrence to some fighting game on the NeoGeo. Otherwise, I'm completely lost.
