Well, after some feet-dragging on my part, the first part of the Nijiura translation project (http://cerealandmilk.net/iichan/dis/kareha.pl/1136325947/) is now done! This is The Star of Delight (Yorokobi no hoshi), by some Toshiaki, and translated by Miz, htsuji and me.

Not much in the way of notes required for this one, except that one could note that http://www.nubra.com/ exists, for those who need to sate their curiosity, and also that page 7 is a reference to the excellent Tomorrow's Song by Going Under Ground, with a video directed by Tomomi Mochizuki (of Zettai Shounen, Twin Spica and Ocean Waves fame). It should be available online somewhere, but I've forgotten where. I'm sure someone can fill us in!
