May cover for Comic Beam with the Molders's maids by Ms. Kaoru Mori
Well, you may be a hardcore Emma fan, but probably not fan enough to take the tube over to Oxford Circus station, take a leisurely walk up Regent Street, and take a right at New Cavendish, and take pictures wantonly. Well, I found it. I found Emma's house. It wasn't on Marylebone Street like how everyone says, but it's actually on New Cavendish itself. I did take a picture of a couple of places on Marylebone, but they didn't have the same facade as in the anime. I thought the ones from Marylebone were it, but upon inspection, this one looked the most like Emma's house. Too bad I didn't realize it and took more pictures of it.
I found this linked on the Japanese Emma page on Wikipedia:http://www.yks.ne.jp/~takaxo/food/Somebody else has been out having fun, too. But apparently they didn't go as far as finding the house.

Can someone translate this comment next to a photo of Negima books in a brit manga shop?「GOSH!」で「ネギま!」ですが私は深くは語らないでおこうフフフ。
To get there, go to the Oxford Circus Underground station, go out exit 4, then go north on Regent Street until it stops, then keep going north on Cavendish Place past the BBC Broadcasting House and Duchess Street, then turn left onto New Cavendish. It's between Haysmouth Mews and Harley Street.
The other building is 63.

Pfft... I did it first. And oh yeah! I forgot the Energy Institute sign on the door. I wonder what that's all about.

Hi! I'm not sure if this is welcomed here, but I have a gigantic request. I was trying to some Emma cosplay and wanted to get her hair correct. I found this mag that had tips on how for her hair and makeup and was wondering if someone would be kind enough to translate it for me >w< I would be forever in your debt! If someone also wants, I can u/l the Shirley and William Hair and Makeup points as well. Again, thank you in advance for the help!!!!
Paging Mandy! Paging Mandy!
AKK sorry...I need to check back here more often!I will tell you what i can, but it was one of my earliest cosplays, i definately could have done some things better on it...As for makeup...i suck at it. STILL. I'm trying to learn to get better, but I wear very little just because I'm not good at putting it on. I went with a neutral colored eyeshadow, mascara, a little lip gloss, and powder...Emma is pretty natural anyway, so no need to overworry it. For the hair, i braided both sides into 2 'pigtail' style braids, then pulled them together and pinned them in the back. You're welcome to AIM me at TheAmazonMandy if you want, i'm sorry I'm not more help! I can't wait to see it done! :) Never enough Emmas out there!

Ack! I've been so swamped after AX that I haven't checked up on the boards lately. Thanks much for the tips, I basically did what you said for my cosplay cause I didn't find anyone to translate the page for me. I'm a big stickler for details so....I'm still hoping for this page to get deciphered.I would have a pic of my cosplay...but...I forgot to get a pic of myself the whole time I wore it! >w< I know that about 3-4 people recognized me and one said she'd put me on her site....so I think I'll steal that if I actually show up there and post it here. LOL Maybe now that Emma, the anime, has been licensed, I'll get some more recognition when I cosplay out. (I'm hoping to get 8 people next time!) ahahahahaha!

Hi, IIChan translation group.I just want to personally thank you for translating such a wonderful series. One question though. Would the accurate english translation be "Victorian Rommance: Emma" or "Emma: a victorian romance", or simply just "Emma" like they did with the US localization?also, I won't lie. /r/ Emma related pics plz.

The title is literally "English love story Emma". As "English" doesn't really have much of an impact as a word in English, we used "Victorian", which seems to be preferred by the producers too, judging from the domain name.Only the anime has the prefix. The manga is just "Emma".("Well then, miss Just Emma...")

There is no volume 8. There is just the Further Tales, and no tankubons are out yet, and we haven't decided if we're going to do anything with them when they are.

Emma tankoubon #5 got released in Finland yesterday. The publisher advertises the series being 7 volumes long, but now I found out Mori has drawn 8th volume including pre- and post-era stories that take place before and after the manga. I hope that 8th book will be published too in here!
I'd really like to know what this board game is.
Oh crap I think my grandmother had that game, or a version of it. It's too bad I'm in another country now. ;_;
It's an older version of Goose Game?
I did a lot of searching for this game at Board Game Geek and elsewhere and came up empty. It clearly has a cycling theme. I don't think it's a version of Goose, since most of those are spiral-track games. The back and forth path suggests it's a variant of Snakes and Ladders. A cycling-themed S&L is a reasonable guess, since cycling games were a little in vogue, and S&L had been translated into an English game from the original Indian/Hindu around this time.I'm assuming the studio a) copied the board design from somewhere instead of inventing it and b) simplified board elements for clarity. Simplifying the board is what will make identifying this game difficult.

Do you have any other shots of the board? I've posted a message at BGG looking for help IDing the game. Is there are action going on in the scene, like dice throwing or moving a piece? One person's suggested a game from the period, but I'm not convinced they're right.
>>3277I'm >>3253 If it's any help, I think the game I remember had vertical lines dividing the yellow path into long narrow strips.
>>3279
>>3279This is what I thought of when you said vertical strips: http://personales.ya.com/anki/cyclingboardgames/g_landsend.htmThe closest game I could find was at the same site: http://personales.ya.com/anki/cyclingboardgames/g_parkernewbicycle.htmIt's vaguely similar, but I doubt it's the game, since it was published in the US. There are other cycling games of the era mentioned here, but I can't find much with Google.
