Well, Mori didn't write it. I thought the artwork was fairly straightforwardly Mori - including the tasteful way the nudity was handled.

I'm sure several of the readers wondered why "Chin Kasuo-kun" is a demonstration of Kanehira's "horrible taste in picking names".

The answer is that it's almost homonymous with a very rude word: "chinkasu", or "dirt accreted under the male foreskin" (i.e. smegma, but with an additional sense of almost deliberate uncleanliness).

It was not explained in the manga, because Kanehira doesn't explain it. I personally think it deserved a footnote, but the again...
