You know, I still prefer your Whisper's Guide over the guide that came with the season 1 Emma boxset (I haven't managed to find the second season). Not to say the official guide is bad (I particularly liked the fashion and building layouts in it), but it doesn't really touch on much of what you did.

In time, I will post the second season's guides, yes. If I get particularly ambitious (and can find raws) I might even do three more at the end for the episodes we didn't do.

I was about to say I had the raws, but then I remembered that I forewent downloading the raws for fear of seeing the ending which I wouldn't understand. I have the subbed ones the other group did, but not the raws, unfortunately.

I should sit down and write an explanation for the millions of references in that, I suppose.

All right, here are some explanations. I'll just assume people are familiar with the Touhou characters (If you are not, go play or read about Subterranean Animism.) No guarantees about this being entirely accurate, and it certainly doesn't cover everything stuffed into this video!

• The whole video is a reference to Billy's Boot Camp, a series of workout videos that have been quite popular in Japan. The lines "One more set!" and "Victory!" are catchphrases from these, and they have "basic" and "ultimate" workouts. http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=billy%27s+boot+camp
• The other theme, of course, is nuclear power, which is O-kuu's specialty. The video is a bit confused about nuclear fusion and fission, but let's just ignore that.
• A plutonium thermal reactor is a fission reactor burning MOX fuel (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MOX_fuel). Regular reactors are designed to run on uranium and can't normally handle plutonium, but MOX fuel lets a regular thermal reactor burn plutonium too.
• The Future of an Illusion is a book by Sigmund Freud. "Illusion" is also the "Genso" part of "Gensokyo", so you could read that as an allusion to "the future of Gensokyo", perhaps.
• "Best equip" is RPG speak for the highest-powered weapons and items in a game.
• "Warming, cooling, detox" is a reference to traditional Chinese ideas about warming and cooling foods, used to detox the body.
• A tokamak is a type of fusion reactor. It is short for "toroidal chamber with magnetic coils" in Russian.
• Deuterium is heavy hydrogen, used in fusion reactors and also in fission reactors in the form of heavy water - thus the reference to fluids. (Kids, do not drink too much heavy water, as it might replace the water in your inner-ear balance organ and make you dizzy for days!)
• In keeping with the boot camp theme, Commander Yukkuri evokes the image of Gunner Sergeant Hartman from Full Metal Jacket.
• "I don't like your attitude" is a reference to a piece of ASCII art (see below) used when you don't feel like answering somebody's questions (like begging for SAUCE PLZ!1!). Or you could just tell them to google it.
• The bathroom line, of course, reminds us of the eternal classic, Kuso Miso Technique (http://iitran.secchan.net/img/res/722.html).
• "Leave this to me and go on ahead!" is another AA reference (see below once again).
• "Number one selling cosmetics" is the catchphrase of Japanese cosmetics company DHC. "Dos Himawari Creature" is a reference to Yuuka being called the "Ultimate Sadistic Creature". "Himawari" means "sunflower".
• Voice actress Kikuko Inoue is famously eternally 17 years old.
• "Ride away on your stolen broom" is a reference to Yutaka Ozaki's 1983 song 15 no Yoru, which contains the line "I ride away on a stolen bike". http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AiD78w0AqeQ (at 1:45).
• "TKG" is short for "tamago-kake-gohan", a popular breakfast meal consisting of hot rice with an egg broken onto it.
• "Let's Nuclear Roman" is a somewhat nonsensical reference to "Let's Bath Roman", another old Japanese advertising catchphrase.

Good question. Well, the line in the video is a reference to the net meme, but it's possible the meme originated from that song. Depends on how old it actually is, I guess.
