Hey guys! Any idea for estimate of release dates for volume 8+? I am guessing by fall 2008... I am dying here! I must not post it but... i´ve just spoiled myself by checking out chapter 17 and it´s ... ITS... I am speechless.

I just saw chapter 18 and it is fantastic, too bad I can't read japanese, great artwork from Ms. Mori as always, really I didn't expect the events of this chapter. If only CMX could release "Emma" faster I would be so happy.

Same here. I really don't want to wait for CMX to release it (wouldn't surprise me if it took upwards of a year). But even without being able to read Japanese, Ms. Mori's art does a great job in conveying the mood and emotions of the characters.

But I have to wonder, with the events in chapter 18, does this mean that Ms. Mori is done with Bangaihen?

I'm inclined to think so, but I believe that there is still room for maybe, a couple more of chapters before being put together in volume 10, so far there is the bicycle chapter, one chapter with Arthur at Eton, and the last two chapters with Emma, William and most of the cast of Emma.

Enterbrain's Monthly Comic Beam has confirmed that next month chapter will be the last of "Emma Bangaihen". Thank you very much Ms. Mori for such a wonderful story.

My slight happiness is only taken from that maybe now she'll get back to Shirley....does anyone know if her serialization of that is still going? Cause I thought after a long pause, she started it up again, but I haven't seen or heard any thing after the first one or two releases......

Well, the end had to come sometime.

Actually, I'm kind of glad she'll end it after the next chapter. As sad as it's going to be to have no more new Emma, at least it has closure, and she won't risk the quality by having it go on indefinitely. It'll still be a sad time, though.

Thanks, Ms. Mori, for creating such compelling characters and story that breaks stereotypes. Emma will always hold a special place in my heart.

I think even if she doesn't go back to Shirley, we can count on much more maid moemoe from her.

I just saw chapter 19 and it was a visual fest. The detail that Ms. Mori pays to her artwork is worth the waiting.

In this chapter Vivi tries to drink alcohol. Tasha dances and sings on a table, Arthur is in his usual surliness mode, and has Hakim's girls attention. Hakim is still Hakim. Vivi dances with Erich, and Colin with Ilse. Prety much everyone had a great time on the party.

I wonder if Vivi dancing with Erich and Colin dancing with Ilse is Ms. Mori hinting at a future pairing, or just for the occasion? Erich and Vivi seemed to be having a great time, at least.

I was somewhat surprised at Adele grabbing Hans in for a kiss. I had assumed that the tension between them would never come to fruitation. But I'm glad. Then Maria offering her arm to a fellow who asked to dance... that did actually make me laugh out loud.

I can't believe it's over now, though. But it's fitting that after such drama, it goes out on a lighter note. I also find it somewhat fitting that it came out so close to Valentines day, but that's probably just me.

I really knew I wish what Aurelia and Richard were saying to each other...

I am just so glad that Ms. Mori gave us a Richard/Aurelia scene.

So Emma Bangaihen ends with Emma and William's wedding party in chapter 19. Actually, after the bicycle chapter (chap 11), i dont know what were the other stories on. Can anyone please tell me what chapters 12 to 18 were about? Just briefly - no need for details. Then i will wait patiently for the manga to be released. Thank you.

I'm missing one chapter but I can't remember it.

I now remember the chapter I was missing. It is about how Adele and Maria met while they were still at Germany. Alma appears at the end of the chapter, she was not still promoted to house maid.
