And now for something completely different.
One day while reading Nijiura, I found somebody posted had scans of an old manga by Yousuke Takahashi, The Time Milk Wound the Spring, one of his earliest works from 1979 or so. The art alone was wonderful, and the story is delightful and twisted.

When I asked htsuji to check my translation, it turned out it was one of his favourite manga too, from way back. It certainly has quickly turned into one of my favourites, too. So, thanks to everyone who helped out with this, and to everyone else, enjoy!
I read his/her manga before.
I don't remember the title, but it was about scary stories that are popular in Japan.
Yes, a lot of his later stories are horror stories, in a more cartoony, Go Nagai-like style. I don't care all that much for those, although some seem amusing, but these more off-beat stories with quirky art are wonderful. I've found a couple more since I started on this one, but I don't know if I'll translate them. I'll have to read them closer to see if they catch my fancy.
Oh yes, I forgot to mention this bit of trivia: Milk's uncles all seem to be named after old wrestlers. Most likely these guys:

I'm not sure about Lou, though (who is a big fat liar!).

09.02.47 <@anon> It's like Alice in Wonderland.
09.03.10 <@anon> thank you for translating it.
I liked it. Props to htsuji too!
