Minna no Uta is a long-running show on NHK, that shows original animated videos for songs. It's aimed at kids and parents alike (the title means "Everybody's Songs"). Occasionally, it is very brilliant. Maybe the most well-known example to western anime fans is Makoto Shinkai's video for the song Egao by by Hiromi Iwasaki. A couple of Minna no Uta songs have been fansubbed, and we figured we should add to that number!
First, some general infomation. Some more Minna no Uta stuff, for those interested:

Our first Minna no Uta video is Tsuki no Waltz, a wonderful little fairy tale, half Alice in Wonderland and half Arabian Nights, sung by Mio Isayama and animated by Atsuko Ishizuka.

I say first, but it's also so far the only one. We might do more in the future. We're open to suggestions! Personally, I'm thinking about Tomorrow's Song.
Oh, and for convenience, here's it is on Youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UGGosbhvcKc
And here are some Minna no Uta videos not released by us:
http://www.edkeyes.org/choco/Makoto_Shinkai_shorts.torrent - This batch has Makoto Shinkai's Egao video.
http://ani-tsuzuki.net:6969/torrents/6853995a5bc7bb5ad869474f74a01777edcd01d1.torrent - Dore Dore no Uta, by Haigou Meiko, animated by Studio Ghibli.
There's a bunch by this guy called Kouji Nanke, an independent animator.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lg55saTkOqI - Mizudori by Risa Tani. I think it's beautiful. I recommend this the most... I would love to see subs of it in a larger size! With better sound quality. The one on youtube makes it sound a bit funny...
These two are probably a bit more enjoyable by kids...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j8mgI8aO9h8 - Kawa wa dare no mono (the song's got an environmentalist tone and all, but it doesn't come across as very preachy to me)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fbYZWM_N3MA - Meiwaku danchi (about some kids who live in the same area and seem annoying in class, but when they fall sick and don't come to class for 3 days the rest of the class feel lonely without them and hope they come back)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U26U84o6x5Q - Banana mura ni ame ga furu. BANANAS AND STRAWBERRIES ARE RAINING DOWN!!!! 'Nuff said. You might get sick of this easily though.
I don't care much for this one, but it's probably Relevant because it's sung by Mari Iijima aka the famous Lynn Minmay of Macross
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QUrOJsT-bEQ - Ringo no Mori no Koneko tachi (actually I think this is the ED from the Spoon Oba-san anime, character design and animation also by Kouji Nanke)
By the way while I'm on the subject of Kouji Nanke, this isn't Minna no Uta, but it's SO FUCKING CUTE - and the animation is really very creative and cute (animation on rolling erasers! Whoda thunk?) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4oOdnGldlMo Kyoro-chan opening theme!! I can't get over it
More:
Here's a bizarre one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WOZwbcZNzRc - Tonosama Gaeru (O Lord Frog?) There's hardly anything to translate. And it could've been animated on Flash, but it's just so addictive... Tonosama gaeru... tonosama ga neru... HUMMMM
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oWhacIF-XLc Ishintenshin shiyou has a very creative and amusing concept behind the animation.
And I don't know if this one can even be translated but it's great to just stare at:
Tetopettenson (http://youtube.com/watch?v=hUgh_c6k4Cw)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x6vIqSuu5bc Grasshopper Monogatari is part song, part story. Quite cute.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B3Hl7vlrAG4 Koi no Hanabi is sung by Mio Isayama, the same person who sang the excellent Tsuki no Waltz. Not really good though, this one...
And finally, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LaP5vqT8Gn8 Nyaan Time for CATURDAY (although today's not Caturday but ZMOG SOO MANY CATS!!!)
Er whoops, the Kyoro-chan link was wrong, that's OP1, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nn598TCJsRw is the right link. Bah, I say you should sub the op alone if you're bored.
