There was a grove of three elm trees on the site where they wanted to build the Crystal Palace. They originally were going to cut them down, but after protests, they instead just erected the Crystal Palace over the trees, completely encompassing them.
"The Turkish March" is a piano piece by Mozart.
When they originally instated Shilling Days, 600 police were positioned on the grounds to take care of any trouble, but despite the large crowds, they proved unnecessary.

This new manga is great except for the past thing since we already know by reading Emma what will happen with Doug, he will die young, and Kelly, she will die alone with Emma. Not a nice way to start a manga. Anyway, if we are lucky we may see Emma growing up or maybe it will end when Emma becomes Kelly's maid. I hope the mangaka will create a manga with Emma's future children, but I doubth it since most artists will draw no more than two series with the same characters, maybe an extra chapter or book but not more. Anyway, when I first read this, I thought it was happening at the same time Emma's story began, so I was hoping for Kelly and Doug to meet with Emma and William in the Crystal palace.

The new manga is a set of side stories. It won't be all about Kelly and Doug. That story will most likely end in the next chapter.

i like the insight it gives into Kelly
in the actual storyline i felt that they didn't cover her enough despite her pivotal role
it's also interesting b/c it adds depth to what she said to emma about the crystal palace
maybe kelly will also wear that one dress?
outside of that, i didn't realize they were -that- poor, i thought kelly did the whole tutor thing?
nope kelly didnt take up tutoring until AFTER doug died.

I think that if the raws are released monthly, then the translations would probably be monthly, at most 6 weekly.
