No, he's asking why the chapter is so long, and hoping it doesn't mean Emma is going on hiatus. The margin notes make a big deal of it, too, like 'BIG chapter! 32 pages! Lucky you!'
Last chapter was quite short, maybe she had energy left over?

No, chapter 50 is the end of Volume 7, and as with most chapters at the end of a volume, STUFF HAPPENS, but it's abundantly clear the story isn't over yet.

I read somewhere that it was funding issues that forced the anime to stop.. wasn't it originally planning to be 36 episodes long?

I understand that while the original plan was for about 36 episodes, the extensive research they undertook for all the design details in the anime basically ate up their entire budget, so they were forced to cut it short. Put simply: pump cash into them however you can, and maybe they can keep going! :)

Who got to license Emma? Its really a shame, sometimes i want anime materials to done by "fans for fans" and that includes Emma... BTW ... does anyone know where I can get the OST of Emma in bittorent form?
